ABOUT FALA CHIEN
After 10 years’ specializing as a marketing consultant in the fashion industry, Vancouver, B.C.-based designer Fala Chien launched her own brand, "Play with Fala," in July 2008. Her vision: to celebrate femininity through simplicity of line and with designs that move easily from day to night.
Play with Fala is more than just a clothing line, though. It is a concept and philosophy that reflects Chien's desire to empower women through fashions that inspire and project self-confidence, poise and exuberance – and with designs that can be worn in multiple ways.
The Play with Fala line debuted during Vancouver Fashion Week, where it has been showcased annually since 2008. Chien’s creations also appear regularly in fashion pages across North American and Asia, and continue to garner attention within the international fashion industry.
